Yeah...So here's my animation project from a few weeks back...Got a little rushed at parts, and the timing's a bit off here and there...all things said, I think this is descent, and pays homage the duo responsible some of the best memories of my early childhood!

Its pretty cool. Its hard for me to comment on, since I didnt do this assignment, but I'll just use my own experience.
Personally, I think what needs the most work would be your anticipation. It all just seems to sort of "happen", without giving the viewer a chance to know whats going on. I'd also push your gestures a little more, it seems to be a little stiff. And like you noticed already, the timing just needs more to it, like for example, mario just floats right up the stairs at a seemingly constant speed.
Sorry if you werent looking for critique, but this will only help your future projects :)
Thanks, man...I love compliments, but need critisism more! Only way I'll learn, right? Yeah, animation is definately my weakness, but I'll make sure to try and learn from that!
